We use Epic Online Services to track the players' non-personal statistics and global game progression. Again, nothing related to personal data whatsoever. Strictly statistics because we love to know a little bit about what the players are doing in-game!

We also enabled 'Steam cloud save' directly on Steamworks which doesn't have any impact on the game or your data. The process is entirely handled by Steam.

About LHEA and the Word Spirit

​

The Android and iOS versions of LHEA and the Word Spirit are free to download and install. Once you've completed the game's introduction, you are offered a one time in-app purchase to unlock the full game. There are no other in-app purchases in the game.

​

Android and iOS app versions of the game will try to verify the expected game version when you open it. It communicates with Epic Online Services and compares a server variable to your local save game. We wanted to notify you directly in the game if there is a newer version of the game to download on the App store / Play store for a smoother and easier process. If you are offline, it's not a problem! You can keep playing with the installed version and can update it later.

There is an option in the game to go full offline mode on all platforms. If for any reason the game fail to connect to the platform you are playing on, it will never prevent you from playing. It will simply activate Offline Mode and you'll be able to keep progressing! As stated before, the only online requirement is to unlock the full game on mobile app versions of the game (Android, iOS)

We did not implement achievements yet in LHEA and the Word Spirit, but if we ever do, it will only use the existing platform connection system in place and will not use any of your personal data.
